LUNA MORTIS: Another New Song Posted Online
February 10, 2009Madison, Wisconsin-based, female-fronted quintet LUNA MORTIS (formerly known as THE OTTOMAN EMPIRE) has posted another new song, "Forever More", on the band's MySpace page. The track comes off LUNA MORTIS' debut album, "The Absence", which is being released in North America today (February 10) via Century Media Records. The CD was tracked at Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, Florida with producer Jason Suecof (ALL THAT REMAINS, TRIVIUM).
Commented vocalist Mary Zimmer: "We are so excited about the release of our new album, 'The Absence'! We've been waiting several months to share the entire album with our fans, and we can't believe the release is here already. It's the culmination of months of work, from recording with Jason in September, to new photos, artwork and all the hard work that we as a band and the staff at Century Media have put in to helping us get out a kick ass new album.
"We've uploaded one of our favorite songs called 'Forever More' from the album for you to check out! We're also extremely pumped for our first couple of radio appearances in support of the new album. On Sunday, we'll be making our first commercial radio appearance with Madison's 94.1 WJJO! Our CD release/listening party is this Friday in Madison, and then later this month we'll be hitting the stage with SOILWORK in Milwaukee and Chicago. We're so incredibly pumped to see you guys in the audience and we can't wait to play for the midwest fans. Thanks again, everybody for your support and don't forget to pick up 'The Absence' this week! We look forward to seeing you all soon.”
